node software package provides Amateur Packet Radio Node program (transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install node
node is installed in your system.
Make ensure the node package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep node *
You will get with node package name, version, architecture and description in a table
